It is the world’s largest technology distributor and a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company. The company distributes and markets IT products from computer hardware suppliers, networking equipment suppliers, and software publishers worldwide.

Ingram Micro has four primary product categories: networking products, software, systems, and peripherals.

In addition, it offers a number of supply chain management services to its suppliers and resellers. Services related to its distribution business include sales and marketing, customer care, financial services, and logistics.
